GENERAL
Welcome back for a great new school year! We have new Media Center hours this year:
6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. - Monday through Friday.

Want to see who will dominate? Will it be the class of '09 or the Northstar Staff? Come and watch the annual Senior vs. Staff Football game on September 23rd during study hall. Bring 25 cents to get in...all proceeds go to the MDA!

*Would you like to join an award winning robotics team and travel the country? Well, come to an informational robotics meeting on Wed., Sept. 11 at 3:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. in room 208. Robotics is not just for engineering students, but there are opportunities for everyone. Students interested in math, science, computers, technology, business, and marketing are welcome to attend this meeting. If you have questions, see Mr. Bloede.

**FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) will have its organizational meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 10 at 7:00 a.m, in room 105. Join us to plan service projects and prepare for competitions that could let you travel to Anaheim, California for National Leadership Conference next June!
**Show your Homecoming Spirit. Buy a t-shirt! Drop your order form and money in the box in the Athletic Office or give to Mrs. Senger in room 710. Orders are due by Wednesday.
SPORTS
Congratulations to the Girls' Varsity Cross Country team for their first place finish in the Blackshirt Invitational on Saturday. The ladies all ran great races, with Jenna McMiller finishing in 2nd, Sammi Donovan finishing in 6th, and Jackie Ladwig finishing in 15th. Great job!
GUIDANCE
Anyone interested in taking an ACT prep class for the upcoming October test?
WCTC is offering one but it starts THIS Saturday, September 6th and runs through September 27th.

Attention All Northstars - It's time to start to sign up for the Outdoor Education Camps. The first camp will be helping out with the students from Bethesda on 9/25 and 9/26. Stop by Guidance to pick up the paperwork. Don't delay. It's lots of fun!!!
Northern Michigan University will be in Guidance on Monday, September, 15th. Mark your calendars
The Paul Mitchell Academy of Waukesha will be hosting a Senior Saturday Session on September 20th from 10:30 am -12:30 pm at their Silvernail road location. Tour the state of the art facility, meet the staff.
