Health Room Volunteers Needed
Health Room Responders are needed to provide basic care to injured or sick children (Help is always available from trained staff.).
Dates: Any school day Monday through Friday 8:00 to 9:45 a.m.
If you are able to volunteer weekly, every other week, or monthly, tell your Health Room Assistant (Mrs. Hoffmann, 970-3515) or School District Nurse Twyla Lato, 970-1125.
Responsiblities:
- Provide a band-aid
- Allow a student to rest
- Take a temperature
- Hand out an ice pack
- Notify a parent as needed.

Volunteers are required to attend one class:
American Red Cross School Health Responder Training
Wednesday, October 8, 2008, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Classes are held at the American Red Cross, 2200 Silvernail Road, Waukesha

Volunteers are required to have a TB skin test with a negative result within 6 months before volunteering.
TB skin tests are offered at the Waukesha County Public Health Division, $10.00 cost.
